"Great stand, easy to assemble, and the kit had everything included, my wife and I had it up in 3 hrs"
Two hunters. Seven months.
One blind we'd actually hunt out of.
We did not set out to start a blind company. We set out to build a blind that we as tree stand archery hunters would actually hunt from.
We hunt from trees. Saddles, sticks, climbing stands. That is how we grew up doing this, and that is where we feel at home—strapping in before you can see your hand in front of your face and listening to the woods wake up from twenty feet in the air while everything below you has no idea you're there.
For a long time, we resisted box blinds. Sitting inside four plywood walls felt like selling out. But hunting teaches you something as you get older: the right tool depends on the moment. When the wind locks a mature buck onto a bedding edge with no timber worth climbing. When it is seventeen degrees and your fingers need to be warm at full draw. Or when your eight-year-old kid is sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with you for their very first sit.
When we finally decided to build something, we didn't ask what hunters in general wanted. We asked what bowhunters need. When you hunt from a saddle, the whole tree is your shooting lane. We wanted that same freedom in a box: ten sides, a silent vertical-slide window in every panel, dead silence, total scent containment, and seven feet of ceiling clearance so a grown adult can stand up and come to full draw without thinking about it.
Seven months and a lot of scrap later we had one we would actually hunt out of. That is still the blind. We have not changed the argument since, because the geometry has not changed and neither has the reason for it.
Three moments when you
come out of the tree.
An elevated box blind isn't a downgrade from a treestand. When built right, it's the tactical advantage in the spots timber cannot solve.
The Bedding Edge
When you are managing a property for mature deer and need to cover a food plot or bedding edge from an angle the wind will never allow from a tree. Total scent control lets you sit right on the edge of daylight.
17 Degrees
When sub-freezing mornings numb your fingers and kill your draw cycle. Carpeted walls, insulated ceiling, and windproof seams keep your hands warm and anchor points consistent when a shooter buck steps out at 4:40 PM.
Shoulder to Shoulder
When your kid is eight years old and it's their very first sit, or when your dad's knees can't take the 20-foot climb anymore. Watching the same treeline, sharing the same breath, keeping the tradition alive.
Four things we
will not trade away.
Seven feet in the 5 Foot, the 6 Foot and the 7 Foot. A hunter at full draw is the same height in all three, so the ceiling is the same in all three. It would be cheaper to shorten the small one. We are not going to.
Not most panels. Every panel. The whole argument falls apart the moment there is a side of the blind you cannot shoot out of. Every window is a silent vertical-slide shootable opening, engineered specifically for archery hunters at full draw.
A fully carpeted interior is not about luxury — it makes the blind dead quiet and scent-proof. Bumping a wall with an elbow, shifting your boots, or dropping a call makes zero sound, while the carpet and tight seams lock your scent inside so game never catches wind of you.

Midwest Whitetail · Bowhunter & Land Manager"For serious bowhunters managing property, traditional box blinds are full of trade-offs—blind spots, cramped ceilings, and noisy windows. NXTGen engineered this specifically for archery: true 360-degree shooting lanes, a full seven-foot standing draw, and total scent containment. It's the only box blind built by guys who actually hunt like we do."
More Field Tests in Progress
We are putting NXTGen blinds on premier managed properties and public-land fringe edges across the Midwest and Northeast with veteran bowhunters this fall. Full field breakdowns and season footage dropping soon.
We leave the four-star
ones up.
"Excellent hunting blind! Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and built with quality materials. It's quiet, weather-resistant, and provides great visibility while staying well concealed. Highly recommend NxtGen Hunting Blinds to anyone looking for a durable, dependable blind."
"The 6x6 blind was easy to assemble and the quality seems great. Dan the Midwest distributor was great to deal with, he was super knowledgeable about all the features and things that make these blinds better than others. I will more than likely be buying more. If you are in the market for a quality hunting blind I would definitely look a NXT GEN."
"My buddy let me sit in his 3 times last season, blind is very well constructed, quiet and holds scent extremely well."
"I have built my own blinds and had other brands of blinds and this is by far the best I’ve been in. The visibility is amazing all the way around. Will definitely will be purchasing more in the future as needed."
